Hamilton police are investigating an overnight shooting in the Hess Village area.
Bullet casings were recovered at Caroline Street south between King Street and Main Street.
Police say witnesses saw two males fleeing from the area, as well as a red car, possibly a Toyota Yaris which may have a flat tire and damage consistent with a bullet hole.
There are no reported injuries. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
