Prince Albert police say a 20-year-old woman is facing charges after a taxi driver was allegedly threatened with a knife on Monday.
At around 12:55 a.m. CT, officers were called to a weapons complaint in the 1400-block of 28 Street East.

The taxi driver told officers that two people from an apartment building had called for a cab. He said they got into his vehicle and asked to be driven to Saskatoon.
Police said the driver asked for money upfront, as it is company policy for long distance fares.
One of the fares who was sitting in the front passenger seat is then alleged to have threatened the taxi driver with a knife. The driver fled the taxi and called police.

No injuries were reported.
Police said that as the cab driver was giving his statement, two people were seen leaving the building. He identified both as the suspects and they were detained.
The Prince Albert, Sask., woman is facing charges of uttering threats, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace.
She is expected to make her first Prince Albert provincial court appearance on Monday.
