The tricycle was stolen from Johal’s home in the Amber Trails area the night of July 20. Officers said it was stolen from an attached garage.

It’s described as black and may still have an orange flag attached to it.

Investigators from the Winnipeg police Major Crimes Unit are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 1-204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 1-204-786-8477.

“It’s senseless but has a huge impact on the victims,” Cst. Rob Carver said.

The trike cost about $3,000 and Johal had it for about six years.

“If you took this bike, I’m not sure why,” Johal said. “It’s no good to use to anybody except me and as I mentioned, this is my happiness and health you’ve stolen.”

“The bike is an opportunity for my physically active, freedom, health and happiness and I love having that bike.”
