Krull, 57, hasn’t been seen since left her Valley Gardens home for her regular morning walk on July 11, 2015.

On Thursday Sgt. Wes Rommel said Krull was assaulted and “forcibly removed from the area” on the morning she disappeared.

“She was involved in a physical altercation with a male and was forcibly removed from the area,” Sgt. Rommel said. “We believe that shortly after the initial encounter Thelma was observed with this male in the area of Kimberly Ave. and Grey St. and appeared to be in distress.”

Police believe the man depicted in the photos may have lived in area Krull was last spotted.

“He had access to a residence in the immediate vicinity of Civic Park, specifically near Kimberly Ave. and Grey St., where he was last seen with Krull” Sgt. Rommel said.

They’ve previously referenced a possible sighting at Kimberly Avenue and Gateway Road on that day and in 2016 reported Krull may have been in the company of a heavy set male.
