Fire crews fight serious blaze in Pilot Butte, Sask.

A major fire has destroyed a house and left a couple homeless in the community of Pilot Butte, Sask., about 20 km east of Regina.

It started at around 3:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon at a house in the 400-block of 4th Avenue.

There were no injuries.

About 25 firefighters from Pilot Butte, White City and Balgonie responded.

The home belonged to a couple who lived there for over 30-years. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
