London police have arrested a 29-year-old man wanted on multiple charges in connection to a home invasion-style robbery and kidnapping more than two months ago in the city’s east end.
Marlon Antone was wanted on a slew of charges including forcible confinement and robbery with offensive weapon in connection to the April 29 incident that began at a residence on Saul Street.
Police said they were called there around 11:15 a.m. that date for reports of a home invasion-style robbery where one of the home’s residents was forcibly removed from the home at gunpoint.

The suspect fled the scene with the victim in a vehicle and drove out of the city to a location along Walker Road on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation. Assistance was requested from Ontario Provincial Police, and officers located the victim in the afternoon with minor injuries. The two were known to each other, and the incident was not random, police said.
Antone remained at large until Thursday when officers arrested him without incident at an address in the area of Grey Street and Wellington Street in the city, police said Friday.
He has been charged with forcible confinement, armed robbery, use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence, fail to comply with recognizance, and kidnapping.

Antone was already wanted by London police prior to the April incident on charges including assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, mischief under $5,000, and fail to attend court. When asked in April what the other charges pertained to, a police spokesperson wouldn’t go into specifics.
Antone is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
