A 45-year-old London woman is facing charges in connection with a stabbing and attempted robbery in south London.
According to police, at around 1:20 a.m. on Sunday, a man walking eastbound on Tecumseh Avenue near Lockyer Street was stabbed in the shoulder by an unknown woman who demanded money.
The man ran away and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police were unable to locate the suspect at the time, but an officer dealing with a woman in relation to a separate incident at around 10 that morning determined she was the suspect wanted in the stabbing.
A 45-year-old woman is charged with attempted robbery, assault causing bodily harm and weapons dangerous.
