Body of missing Edmonton man found in Bow River south of Strathmore

Calgary police said Thursday the body of an Edmonton man missing since May has been found.

Jordan Nicholas Curtis, 33, was last seen in the 0-100 block of Dermot Baldwin Way S.E. in Calgary on May 20. At the time, police said he was visiting a friend.

Curtis’ remains were found by a passerby along the Bow River south of Strathmore on Oct. 21. The citizen called Strathmore RCMP; the Medical Examiner’s Office assisted police in identifying him.

Investigators said the circumstances of his death are not suspicious.

No further information will be released by police.
