Security camera video obtained by authorities shows several males arriving to the lot with the victim exiting an SUV carrying a handbag and engaging in a conversation with the suspect while the two men walked side by side.
Almost simultaneously, the suspect pulls out a gun while the victim reaches into his handbag to do the same.
Moments later the victim falls to the ground as the suspect flees into a nearby complex.
Seconds later another male, who is seen as the driver of the SUV, walks over to the victim who hands him the firearm.
The driver proceeds to walk back to his vehicle, deposits the gun inside, and returns to assist the victim back to the SUV.

The two males then drove away from the lot.
The other area of interest in the investigation is an underground parking lot at 345 Dixon Road. It’s here that police say they responded to a call about a man who had been shot. Not long after arriving, the man with gunshot wounds was transported by EMS.
Later on, collaborating officers from both locations were able to ascertain that the victim from the Martin Grove shooting was the same as the victim picked up at Dixon Road.

Further forward on the security cam footage from the scene of the shooting, investigators were able to make out the suspect leaving the area in a change of clothing.
The alleged shooter had black braided hair, a thin beard, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie.
Police are also looking for the driver of the SUV, who has been identified as 22-year-old Liban Hussein of Toronto. He is wanted for several outstanding firearm-related offenses.
Toronto police Supt. Ron Taverner called the incident “a very callous crime ” during a press conference at 23 Division in Etobicoke on Tuesday.
Meanwhile city councillor Vincent Crisanti said as a resident of the area, it was “terribly concerning.”
