Two Hamilton residents arrested in armed robbery

A man and woman from Hamilton are facing a long list of charges in connection with an armed robbery at an Oakville pharmacy.

The Guardian Pharmacy on Trafalgar Road was robbed May 29 by two men carrying handguns who took cash and prescription medication.

Halton police say several customers inside the pharmacy were also sprayed with a noxious substance.

The two suspects fled to a waiting car that was driven by a woman.

Police say they “arrested several parties” Tuesday afternoon near Barton Street and Nash Road in Hamilton.

Ryan Wood, 27, and Lindsay Reid, 21, both of Hamilton, are charged with armed robbery and other offences.

Investigators are still looking for the third suspect.
