A shooting in the parking lot of Cabaret Les Amazones in NDG, in Montreal’s west end, left one man dead Wednesday.
A 911 call was made around 2:40 a.m. after witnesses heard multiple gunshots in a parking lot at the corner of Saint-Jacques Street and Cavendish Boulevard.

The 28-year-old victim was transported to hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
“He died shortly after being admitted to the hospital,” said Montreal police spokesperson Raphaël Bergeron.
“The victim was not known to police.”
Montreal police do not have any suspects, but are encouraging the public to contact them if they have any information.
It is Montreal’s 10th homicide of 2017.
