Missing Toronto man found dead in water near Woodbine Beach, no foul play suspected

Following reports of a body being found in the Woodbine Beach area, Toronto police have confirmed the deceased is the missing Toronto resident David Ramphalie.

Toronto police had set up a command post by the water at the foot of Coxwell Avenue, in search of the missing 38-year-old man.

Police said the death does not appear to be suspicious. Next of kin has been notified.

Ramphalie was last seen Friday at 7 a.m. in the Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East area. Police said they believed he went out on a boat at the time of his disappearance.
