Calgary police locate 13-year-old girl who went missing in the city’s northwest

Calgary police are thanking the public for helping them search for a 13-year-old girl who went missing in the city’s northwest Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the teen was last seen at her home in the Varsity area at around 3 p.m.

The girl was described as being 5’5″ with a slim build and blond hair. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket and glasses.

Just after 4 a.m. on Monday, Calgary police tweeted to say the girl had been found safe and sound.
