Homicide unit investigating stabbing death in Richmond Hill

A 20-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a fatal stabbing in Richmond Hill, Ont., Monday night.

York Regional Police said they were called to Redstone Road near Leslie Street and Elgin Mills Road East just before 9:40 p.m. and located a male outside a vehicle on the roadway without vital signs.

He was rushed to hospital where he later died.

The victim has been identified as Guildod Amini-Kouchesfahani from East Gwillimbury.

Police have not released any information about suspects.
