Manitoba Moose winless in six straight following loss to Iowa Wild

The Manitoba Moose slide continued on Sunday as their losing streak reached six games.

The Moose dropped a 3-1 decision to the Iowa Wild in the second game of a three games in three days stretch for Manitoba.

Moose captain Patrice Cormier scored the only goal for Manitoba as they continued their five game road trip. Sam Anas, Grayson Downing, and former Moose Jordan Schroeder found the net for Iowa.

Moose forward JC Lipon had one assist to stretch his point streak to four games.

The Wild outshot the Moose 26-25 as Eric Comrie made 23 saves for Manitoba in the loss. The Moose were 0-for-5 on the powerplay while the Wild connected on two of their six opportunities with the man advantage.

Manitoba closes out the road trip with the rematch against the Wild on Monday. It’s their final game before the holidays with their next contest not until December 30.
