UPDATE: Alberta man charged in Saskatoon road rage incident

A minor collision just outside of Saskatoon turned into an alleged road rage incident after one driver pointed a rifle at another driver.

Saskatoon police said the collision happened early Thursday morning on Highway 7 west of the city.

One of the drivers took off without leaving any information.

The second driver followed and the vehicles eventually came to a stop at 22nd Street West and Betts Avenue.

At that point, police said the drivers had an argument. A man then grabbed a long-barreled gun from his vehicle and aimed it at the second driver.

He then fled on foot with what is believed to be a .22-calibre rifle.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

Police are looking for a man around 40 years of age who was wearing a black coat and toque.

The vehicle he was driving has been impounded.
