Body found in Surrey Wednesday morning

Surrey RCMP are investigating after a body was found Wednesday morning.

Police say a passerby found an unresponsive person in a vehicle in the 12800-block of King George Boulevard around 11:40 a.m. Police confirmed upon arrival that the man had died.

Officers say no foul play is suspected. The BC Coroners Service is working to determine cause of death.

King George Boulevard was closed to traffic between 128 Street and 132 Avenue for much of Wednesday afternoon and is now beginning to open up to traffic.
