RCMP investigate deadly crash near Paul First Nation

Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate what led to a deadly crash west of Edmonton Sunday morning.

According to the Stony Plain RCMP, officers were called to respond to a single-vehicle crash on Range Road 35 near the Paul First Nation. They said a passerby saw a man lying beside a vehicle that had rolled over.

Police said the 43-year-old man had “faint vitals and was extremely cold.” They said he was rushed to hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Mounties said there were no witnesses to the crash and are asking anyone with information to call the Stony Plain RCMP detachment at 780-968-7267. Tips can also be anonymously submitted by contacting Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 or online.
