Yorkton RCMP asking for public’s help after attempted home invasion

RCMP are asking the public for help as they investigate an attempted home invasion that took place in southeast Yorkton, Sask.

At around 10:30 p.m. CT on Monday, several people demanded cash and attempted to push their way into a residence.

RCMP officials said they failed to get inside but one resident was seriously injured during the incident. Injuries were last reported to be non-life threatening.

The suspects are described as wearing dark, hooded sweaters and bandanas.
