“It dawned on me with my company having such a great year, it would make somebody’s life better if I could donate it to them,” Granger, who owns River City Renos said.

Granger is expecting a second baby and knows how useful a vehicle is for a family, “It’s extremely important especially if you have a family, having to go to anything from doctors appointments to get groceries.”

The vehicle also comes equipped with winter tires and has been safetied. All of the work was also donated by local companies.

“It’s not everyday someone gives up a nice newer car like that,” Dustin Jackson from Silver Auto Centre said.

“So for us to just do a safety on it and replace the parts needed, that’s easy for us.”
