Keo Woolford, an actor best-known for appearing on Hawaii Five-0 as Detective James Chang, has died at the age of 49.
Woolford, a native of Honolulu, died on Monday at a hospital in Hawaii three days after suffering a stroke, his publicist Tracy Larrua said.
He had small roles in such films as Happy Texas (1999), Falling for Grace (2006) and Godzilla (2014).

Woolford starred in more than 300 performances as the King of Siam in a stage production of The King & I and toured as a member of a Hawaiian boy band.
He wrote, directed and produced 2013 independent film The Haumana, which revolves around a struggling luau show host (played by Tui Asau) who reconnects with his culture after he takes over a high school hula class for boys.
The Haumana closed the 2013 Hawaii International Film Festival, and he received a special jury prize at the Los Angeles Pacific Film Festival for best first feature.
Woolford had just completed the script for a sequel, and acting auditions were set to begin in January, Larrua said.

Woolford’s co-stars from Hawaii Five-0 took to Twitter to post tributes.
Hawaii Five-O is currently in its seventh season and airs on Global TV.
