Family of missing Moncton woman Jami Springer pleads for information

A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone who has information that can lead to finding Jami Springer.

The 28-year-old was last seen on the afternoon of August 31 on McLaughlin Drive in Moncton, N.B. She has not been seen or heard from since. The RCMP’s major crime unit is investigating the case and consider her disappearance to be suspicious.

Springer’s family, who pleaded for information about her disappearance in a YouTube video, raised $8,000 towards the reward. The remaining $2,000 is coming from Crime Stoppers.

“Our family wants to thank everyone that has helped us try to find Jami,” said Gillian Fletcher, Springer’s mother.

“It’s our hope that by adding more money to the Crime Stoppers award, someone with information will call.”

Springer is described as Caucasian, 5’4″, 106 lbs, with dark brown hair and dark eyes. She also has a number of tattoos, including a flower on her upper back, a butterfly on her lower back, a multi-coloured birthday cake, a popsicle and the Lord’s Prayer, which extends the entire length of her left thigh.

“We want people to know that information can be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers. You don’t have to give your name,” said RCMP Const. Hans Ouellette.

“We are looking for any information that will help us find Jami. Someone knows where she is.”
