Health Canada is recalling Sabra hummus products sold across the country due to listeria concerns.
While Sabra Canada says there have been no reported illnesses from the hummus, they are recalling most products with a best before date of Jan. 23, 2017, or earlier as a precaution.

Unaffected products include Sabra Guacamole, Organic Hummus, Salsa, and Greek Yoghurt dips. A full list of recalled products can be found on the Health Canada website.
Health Canada says the recall was triggered by a similar recall in the U.S.
Sabra Dipping Co. (the company’s American counterpart) says Listeria monocytogenes were found at a manufacturing plant, but have so far not been found in products.
Symptoms of listeriosis include fever, headache, diarrhea, vomiting and muscle aches, and in people with weakened immune systems can lead to more serious illnesses such as meningitis or blood infections.
