Weather forecast update at 4pm:
Intermittent showers are in the forecast over the weekend as a weather system centred to the southwest of our region will keep directing bands of clouds and showers into the BC Interior.
Overnight freezing levels will remain near or slightly above the base of the valleys, however afternoon freezing levels will be between 1000m to 1500m Saturday and Sunday.

Snow and mixed precipitation is expected on higher terrain, especially during the evenings and early morning hours.
