Police do not have any information about a suspect and are asking anyone with information to come forward to help with the investigation.

Izzard’s murder comes just two days after the shooting death of Shakur Jefferies, 21, who was gunned down outside an apartment building on Washmill Lake Drive near Clayton Park Saturday. Police are looking into any connection between the two Homicides.

Izzard’s death marks the eleventh homicide in the Halifax Regional Municipality in 2016.
