Toronto police looking to identify truck involved in alleged hit-and-run

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the truck involved in an alleged hit-and-run, which left a 76-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the man was trying to cross Aragon Avenue, on the south side of Sheppard Avenue East near Warden Avenue, at around 8:15 a.m. Monday when a dark-coloured pick-up truck travelling northbound hit the man.

The driver stopped the vehicle after the collision and then left the scene, police said.

Police have released security camera images of the vehicle.
