The operation, dubbed “Code White,” led to a lockdown of the high school as officers searched the premises.

“No one was hurt and no shots were fired,” said Mélanie Mercille, a spokesperson with Longueuil police.

Parents were notified of the lockdown as a precautionary measure; it has since been lifted.

The two 14-year-olds arrested could face charges of possession of a firearm.
