Toronto man wanted for attempted murder in stabbing

A 29-year-old man is wanted for attempted murder in connection to a stabbing in north Toronto last month.

Toronto police said there was an altercation between two groups of men in the Jane Street and Lawrence Avenue West area just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2 when one of the men stabbed a 35-year-old man.

The suspect has been identified as Corey Stephens. He is also wanted for robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, carry concealed weapon and fail to comply with recognizance.
