Fire investigators have determined a frightening Halloween night fire at a mobile home park in West Kelowna was likely caused by a candle burning inside a jack-o-lantern.
It was around 9 p.m. on Monday when neighbours at the Paradise Mobile Home Park on Boucherie Road noticed flames.
Two men jumped into action, breaking a rear window to free a woman who was inside the home.
The flames spread through the structure and nearby trees.
The investigation into the blaze wrapped up Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was deemed accidental, started by a candle burning on the porch of the mobile home.
