Justin Bieber tweeted and then quickly deleted a letter to his fans Saturday night, explaining why he walked off stage mid-show during a Purpose world tour stop in Manchester, England.
During that concert, which took place on Oct.23, the 22-year-old pop star was trying to speak to his fans and asked them to stop screaming between songs.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that he posted the entire transcript of his speech to Twitter before deleting it.

“People tend to want to shut you down. What I mean by that is… people try to twist things, some people don’t want to listen,” he wrote in the note. “But I simply feel like, if I didn’t use this platform to say how I truly feel, and if I didn’t use this platform to be the man that I know I am, and speak from what’s in my heart, then I’m doing myself injustice, and I’m not doing anybody in this audience any justice.”
Bieber continued, “There’s going to be times where I say the wrong thing, because I’m human… there’s times when I get upset… times when I get angry, there’s times when I’m going to be frustrated. But I’m always going to be myself on this stage.”
The Sorry singer added that comments implying he stormed off stage because he was “angry” at his fans are false.
“All I was simply doing was wanting people to listen; to kind of hear me out a little bit,” his note reads. “Certain cities aren’t going to want to hear me out, and you know, sometimes it’s my job to just say, ‘Hey, I’m not going to try to force anything.'”

Bieber ended his letter by thanking fans in attendance at his U.K. show on Saturday evening.
Bieber also pleaded with fans to stop screaming at another recent Purpose show, in Birmingham, England. He asked the crowd to quiet down and said, “Screaming is just so obnoxious.”

The What Do You Mean singer has made headlines for his public antics in recent weeks. Earlier this month, he tried to disguise himself in Amsterdam with a fake goatee and wig.
Most recently, Bieber was filmed sitting atop a wall in Scotland as a car driver slows down next to him and talks to him in a Scottish accent.
The confused-looking singer looks down to the camera and asks “What?,” according to the Mail Online.
Bieber takes the stage in Dublin, Ireland on Nov. 1 before heading to Austria to continue his Purpose world tour.
