When crews arrived, they found half of the exterior of the house engulfed in flames.  The home suffered extensive damage, but firefighters were able to protect many of the possessions inside.

People were inside when the fire broke out, but they were able to get out safely. Emergency Support Services have since offered them assistance.

Heat from the flames also damaged the outside of a neighbouring house and an R.V.

Early indications are that the fire is suspicious.  RCMP have taken over the investigation, with the help of Kelowna Fire Department investigators.

The fire comes just days after another suspicious fire at the same house.  On October 25, fire crews responded to a fire that damaged a boat parked in a driveway.
