RCMP are asking the public for help as they investigate yet another brazen ATM theft in central Alberta.
This time, the thieves’ methodology appears to have been lifted straight out of a Hollywood heist film.

The theft happened earlier this month.
According to police, officers were called to a break and enter at a Shell gas station in the Gasoline Alley area of Red Deer at around 4 a.m. on Oct. 14.
They said a pair of suspects got in to the gas station by cutting a hole in the roof and climbing down a tow rope. Mounties said the suspects then used a sledgehammer and a crowbar to open the ATM.
