Get lost in Saskatoon’s amazing piece of Italian culture – Oct 25, 2016

For over 40 years the Italian Canadian Association of Saskatoon (ICAS) has owned a piece of land just outside of Saskatoon, and there has been a lot of hard work and commitment to develop it.

Their biggest fundraiser of the year, a fall maze, is a bit different this year. Instead of a corn maze, they took the time to build a six-foot tall straw-bale maze.

The fundraiser is a labour of love from the ICAS as well as volunteers from Bethlehem High School. Although a straw-bale maze doesn’t cover as much space, it can withstand the elements, while keeping participants insulated.
