A man escaped serious injury following a rollover on Highway 16 east of Lashburn, Sask.
The rollover happened Saturday when the driver of a westbound SUV lost control, entered the north ditch and rolled.

The 25-year-old driver from Lloydminster was treated at the scene by paramedics.
He has now been charged by police under the Traffic Safety Act, however the natures of the charges have not been released.
Cst. Ryan Fraser said the rollover is a reminder to drivers to “keep their hands on the steering wheel and their eyes on the road.”

According to statistics from Maidstone RCMP, there have been 80 crashes on Highway 16 so far this year in their district.
Lashburn is approximately 240 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
