Police in a Saskatchewan community are searching for a man after a report he was allegedly trying to lure children.

It happened Thursday afternoon in Langenburg, Sask.

According to Esterhazy RCMP, four young children said they were approached by a man driving a minivan.

The children told police he pulled up to them and told them to get in his van.

The four children then ran away.

Police are looking for a late-aged Caucasian man with a medium build and wearing a red and black ball cap.

He was driving what is described as a dirty red of burgundy minivan with a small Canadian flag on the roof, just above the windshield and attached with a suction cup.

Langenburg is approximately 400 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.
