ARV1 and Canine teams dispatched in early morning incident Sunday

WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Police Service was called to a robbery incident early Sunday morning.

At around 3:20 a.m. officers said they responded to a robbery incident that had just occurred in the area of College Avenue and Powers Street.

The Tactical Support Team, the armored vehicle (ARV1), Canine and uniform patrol all attended to a home in the 400 block of College Avenue. Several people were taken out of the home.

Officers said the investigation is still in its early stages and members of the Major Crimes Unit have also been notified.
