The home team dropped a tight 4-2 decision to the Saskatoon Blades, running into a hot goaltender who turned aside 36 shots for the Blades.

Logan Flodell was great all night, backed by two first period tallies by the visitors. He especially stood on his head in the second period while facing 16 Rockets’ shots.

The only player that could solve Flodell was Kole Lind, who scored his third and fourth goals of the year in a losing effort.

Jesse Shynkaruk and Mason McCarty both had a pair for the Blades.

The loss pushes Kelowna’s already-tough record on the year to three wins and six losses.

They next play tonight at Prospera when the Swift Current Broncos are in town.
