Police in York Region have released video showing a suspect breaking into a car in just seconds to steal the contents inside, and officers say it might be connected to at least 12 other vehicle entries and thefts.
The surveillance video shows a man using tools to break into a car at a Mapleton Mills Drive house in King Township on Sept. 14 just after 3 a.m. The man can be seen with a flashlight looking into the car and removing items.
Police were later called and officers discovered four other vehicles in the same area had their windows smashed and valuables removed.

He was last seen wearing a hoodie with dark-coloured, loose-fitting pants and dark shoes with a reflective stripe on the sides.
