Montreal Alouettes linebacker, Kyries Hebert, stopped by Global News on Friday to guest host Global News Morning with anchor Laura Casella and weather specialist Kim Sullivan.
Hebert is in his fifth season with the Alouettes.
He has played for seven teams throughout his professional football career, which has seen him make stops in both the NFL and CFL.

Favorite place to eat in Montreal?
Houston bar & grill. They have great tartare.
What’s a day in the life of a pro football player like?
Each day I wake up at 6 a.m. and focus on football till 2 p.m. The rest of the day is dedicated to coordinating events for my non-profit foundation. I also co-host a radio show on Friday.
Favorite part of playing pro football?
The position it puts me in to make a difference in the lives of others.
Who’s one person you looked up to growing up?
My mother. She’s the hardest working person I’ve ever met. She’s very involved in the community and I got my philanthropic spirit from her.
What’s something that people wouldn’t know about you?
I played the trombone and tuba in the high school marching band from grade six to grade 10.
