The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation into the death of a 25-year-old man found at a home in Cadotte Lake, Alta.
Police said officers with the RCMP’s Peace River detachment were called to the home for reports of a death which was later determined to be suspicious.
Mounties said a person known to the deceased has been taken into custody. They did not say whether they expect to lay charges but added “police are not looking for any other individuals at this time.” Police did not believe what led up to the death was a random act.
