Focus Montreal introduces Montrealers to people who are shaping our community, bringing their stories into focus.

It airs on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and at midnight.

There are about 200 homeless Canadian Forces veterans currently living on the streets in Montreal.

Many Canadians may not realize the conditions veterans are living in.

Thankfully though, the Artillery Association of Montreal is helping to create awareness and compassion.

Our Great Montrealer this week is a tour de force who came to our city from Haiti more than a decade ago.

Fabienne Colas arrived with a mission to showcase the art and culture of her home country in Montreal.

She’s grown that vision into six festivals in Montreal, Toronto, New York and Port-au-Prince, including the Montreal International Black Film Festival which opened on Wednesday.

Senior anchor Jamie Orchard sat down with Fabienne Colas, the the heart and soul behind the festival.
