Sarah Jessica Parker certainly takes her reputation as a style icon seriously.

Two years ago she unveiled her first collection of shoes under the SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker label and now she’s trying her hand at clothing.

The actress revealed yesterday via Instagram that she has designed a collection of LBDs (or little black dresses) that will be available exclusively at Bloomingdale’s starting in October. (We Canadians can order clothes through the retailer online.)

Details surrounding the collection are fairly hush-hush at the moment, and the only thing Parker has disclosed to this point is that it’s “all proudly made in America.” It’s a guarantee that the dress she is seen wearing in her Instagram post — midi length with a three-quarter sleeve, scoop back and a full skirt — will be in the offering, although she has not revealed any other silhouettes.

It would seem that the entrepreneur and mother of three has been rather busy lately. In addition to yesterday’s announcement, Parker recently unveiled her latest footwear offerings — a range of classic and brightly hued stilettos and booties — launched a new fragrance, Stash SJP, in August, and is starring in a new series, Divorce, which is set to premiere on HBO on Oct. 9.
