RCMP in Nova Scotia have arrested five people in relation to the homicide of Tylor McInnis.

Police are releasing very few details about the individuals in custody but Global News confirms the arrests involved four adults and one youth.

McInnis’ body was found in the trunk of a stolen car in a cemetery in North Preston on Aug. 24.

Police have not released how the 26-year-old was killed but have said his death is not considered a random act.

RCMP will not say what charges are pending against the individuals. They are expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
