On every Royal Visit, fans shower the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with flowers, teddy bears and other gifts.
But what happens with all those presents?
“Sometimes they’ll go to churches throughout the community but they’re always reused and given away somewhere.”

There have only been two days of the official Royal Visit to B.C., but already Prince William and Kate Middleton have received hundreds of bouquets and gifts from fans.
“Flowers are an obvious thing to give a member of the Royal Family,” said Roy. “And you’ll see hundreds and hundreds of them through the course of this tour.”

But it appears there’s a secret weapon to get the couple’s attention during this tour.

So if you are coming to see the Royals and hope to talk to them, what, other than babies, gets their attention?
“So it goes babies one, something unique, number two, flowers number three. We’re seeing a lot of toys for the kids on this trip that are being handed off,” said Roy.
“Some of them will end up with the children and some of them will end up being given away to charity organizations.”
