Regina police charge man in connection with the Pump Roadhouse shooting

Omar Abdi Hakim Haji-Hussein, who was wanted on a Canada-Wide warrant for the shooting, was arrested at a home in the 100 block of Toronto Street early Thursday morning.

During the shooting incident at the nightclub in late April, a 22-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were injured in the shooting.

Haji-Hussein is charged with attempt to commit murder using a restricted firearm, possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order and failure to comply with recognizance.

Haji-Hussein made his first court appearance in provincial court on Thursday.
