Investigators with the Halifax Regional Police are still working to identify a person of interest in the homicide of Rickey Walker.

Police released photos of an unknown man on Sept. 9, but so far have not been able to identify him.

Walker, 48, was found in a wooded area behind John McNeil Elementary School on Leaman Drive in Dartmouth on Sept. 1. Police say he was suffering from gunshot wounds when they found him and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Anyone with information about Walker’s death or who may be able to identify the person of interest in the photos is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
