Tickets aren’t cheap for the celebrity-packed Global Citizen concert taking place at the Bell Centre on Saturday, Sept. 17.
But 500 lucky Montrealers now have the chance to attend the concert for free, thanks to a huge ticket giveaway.
The location of the giveaway was top secret until 1 p.m. – but Canadian rock band Metric gave this hint below, pointing to the corner of McKay Street and de Maisonneuve Boulevard:
The international concert aims to raise awareness about the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

The concert is being presented by Global Citizen and The Global Fund, an international partnership dedicated to eradicating AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.
Canada has pledged $785 million between 2017 and 2019 to The Global Fund, a 20 per cent increase over its last installment to the financial partnership.
