Eighteen-year-old Mendelle Robles’ grandfather told Global News police had brought her back home just before 6 p.m. Sunday. He said she “seemed perfectly good” when she arrived home.

The teen’s mother, Melanie Robles, said her daughter was last seen Friday evening with Mendelle’s aunt and grandfather.

Robles said police helicopters and ground crews searched the area near the house through Friday night and during the day Saturday. Mendelle was spotted at the Co-op grocery store on Southland Drive in Oakridge at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

“With the loss of her medications immediately, we’re not quite sure how that will affect her, whether that is going to make more likely to be in an agitated state or even perhaps make her fall into a confused state,” she said Saturday night.

“She’s the most beautiful kid ever and she is so very dear to myself, my husband and the rest of our family.”
