Missing Mississauga man’s ‘unusual’ disappearance raises family’s concerns

Police are continuing their search for a missing 34-year-old Mississauga man who disappeared almost a week ago and say it’s unusual for him to be out of contact with his family for so long.

Terry Jackman was last seen Wednesday around 12:20 p.m., near Cawthra Road and Lakeshore Road East, and police are reaching out to the public for help locating him.

Jackman is described by police as a white male, standing 5’7″ tall, 130 pounds with a thin build. He has short brown hair, hazel eyes, is possibly unshaven and was last seen wearing a dark-coloured T-shirt, dark green pants and beige steel-toed boots.

Police and family are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and said it’s unusual for him to be away from home this long without contacting his family.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call investigators at 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 1133 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
