WINNIPEG — School is back in session, and just like that, the weather has taken a definite turn to feeling more like Fall.
After a Labour Day weekend that saw some sunshine, hot temperatures, and unfortunately a lot of rain – southern Manitoba is feeling the difference in the temperature this week.
Our seasonal daytime high has now dropped to 20 Celsius with the overnight low of 8 C.
After reaching 28 C on Saturday our temperature dropped significantly Sunday to 19 C and along with that came the rain.
The Red River Valley was hit hardest by Sunday’s system while Winnipeg received much less than other areas with a total of 14 millimetres.

Our forecast does see a chance of more rain coming our way on Wednesday night, but we are not expecting another soaker like we had over the weekend.
